Qualifications

Bus Mechanic

Position Overview

Responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing the company's motorcoach fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines and bus systems
  • Inspect brakes, air systems, transmissions, A/C, and electrical systems
  • Perform routine oil changes, tire replacements, and preventive maintenance
  • Maintain repair records and report issues
  • Provide roadside assistance and emergency repairs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or diesel mechanic technical certificate
  • 3+ years of motorcoach or heavy-duty vehicle repair experience
  • Familiarity with Cummins, Detroit, or Volvo engines preferred
  • CDL license or Class B CDL with air brake endorsement preferred
  • Strong safety awareness and reliability
